O USO DE "VERBOS GERAIS" NO DIALETO MINEIRO

Resumo

A língua é viva, dinâmica, está suscetível às reais necessidades do uso, no interior de uma determinada comunidade linguística. Partindo desse pressuposto, neste trabalho, analisamos as possibilidades de uso das formas verbais coisar e negoçar no português oral de Minas Gerais. Para isso, levantamos a hipótese que esses verbos têm se mostrado produtivos na fala dos mineiros, assumindo os tempos e modos verbais já existentes no paradigma de conjugação do português brasileiro. Em termos metodológicos, valemo-nos de um estudo qualitativo-interpretativo, de modo que discutimos as possibilidades de forma e sentido que coisar e negoçar vêm assumindo nos contextos em que evidenciamos esses usos. Esse estudo está embasado teoricamente nos trabalhos já realizados sobre os nomes gerais, categoria da qual esses verbos são originados. Autores como Amaral e Ramos (2014), Oliveira (2016) e Barbosa et al (2012), entre outros, auxiliaram-nos nas discussões empreendidas. A nossa análise revelou que os itens lexicais coisar e negoçar perpassam por um processo de ordem flexional que interfere nos papéis semânticos que essas palavras desempenham, haja vista, por exemplo, as formas coisado e negoçado, as quais assumem uma das formas nominais do verbo, o particípio passado. Observamos, assim, que os ditos nomes gerais são alvos de processos morfológicos na língua em uso, o que faz com que eles tomem, também, a forma de “verbos gerais”, uma vez que indicam possibilidades de ações humanas que, muitas vezes, só podem ser definidas pelo contexto morfopragmático do qual emergem essas formas. O nosso estudo justifica-se no sentido de descrever e refletir sobre um fenômeno linguístico existente e produtivo na fala dos mineiros, o uso dos “verbos gerais”, temática muito pouco explorada no ramo de estudos da língua.

ABSTRACT: The language is lively, dynamic; it is susceptible to the real needs of the use within a given linguistic community. Based on this assumption, in this work, we analyze the possibilities of using the verbal forms coisar and negoçar in the oral Portuguese of Minas Gerais. For this, we hypothesize that these verbs have been productive in the mineiros` speech, assuming the times and verbal modes already existing in the Brazilian Portuguese conjugation paradigm. In methodological terms, we use a qualitative-interpretative study, so that we discuss the possibilities of form and meaning that coisar and negoçar are taking on in the contexts in which we demonstrate these uses. This study is based theoretically on the works already done on the general names, category from which these verbs are originated. Authors such as Amaral and Ramos (2014), Oliveira (2016) and Barbosa et al (2012), among others, assisted us in the discussions undertaken. Our analysis has revealed that the lexical items coisar and negoçar go through a process of an inflectional order that interferes with the semantic roles that these words play, for example, considering coisado and negoçado forms assume one of the nominal forms of the verb, the past participle. We thus observe that the said general names are targets of morphological processes in the language in use, which causes them to also take the form of “general verbs”, since they indicate possibilities for human actions that can often only be defined by the morphophragmatic context from which these forms emerge. Our study is justified in the sense of describing and reflecting on an existing and productive linguistic phenomenon in the mineiros' speech, the use of “general verbs”, a topic that has not been explored in the field of language studies.
