A ABORDAGEM DA VARIAÇÃO LINGUÍSTICA EM LIVROS DIDÁTICOS DE LÍNGUA PORTUGUESA DO ENSINO MÉDIO

THE APPROACH OF LINGUISTIC VARIATION IN PORTUGUESE HIGH SCHOOL TEACHING BOOKS

Abstract

O livro didático tem um importante papel na educação brasileira, pois, na maioria das vezes, é o principal material didático utilizado pelos professores de língua portuguesa, em sala de aula. Documentos oficiais, como os Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCN), norteiam o ensino-aprendizagem de língua portuguesa e destacam a importância da inserção da variação linguística no trabalho com a língua, devido à heterogeneidade do português brasileiro. Por esta razão, todos os livros didáticos abordam o tema da variação, porém, em alguns, ainda há inconsistências em relação à variação, e sua abordagem se dá, em muitos casos, apenas para cumprir as exigências de programas governamentais, como o Programa Nacional do Livro Didático (PNLD), e acabam não se preocupando com o aprendizado e a reflexão que se podem gerar em sala de aula, deixando a cargo do professor aprofundar mais o assunto. Assim, nosso objetivo, neste trabalho, é analisar como ocorre o tratamento da variação linguística, em livros didáticos de língua portuguesa, no ensino médio. Para isso, usaremos a coletânea Português Contemporâneo: diálogo, reflexão e uso, dos autores William Cereja, Carolina Dias Vianna e Christiane Damien (2016), destinada ao Ensino Médio. A coleção a ser analisada foi indicada no PNLD de 2015 e muito bem avaliada pelo Guia do Livro Didático. A base teórica deste trabalho ancora-se nos estudos sociolinguísticos educacionais e utilizaremos recortes da coletânea 1, 2 e 3 desses livros didáticos destinado ao ensino de gramática, para então, perceber se há uma regularidade no trabalho com as variações ou apenas limita-se a mera identificação das variedades.

ABSTRACT: The textbook plays an important role in Brazilian education, as it is most often the main teaching material used by Portuguese language teachers in the classroom. Official documents, such as the National Curricular Parameters (PCN), guide the teaching and learning of the Portuguese language and highlight the importance of inserting linguistic variation in the work with the language, due to the heterogeneity of Brazilian Portuguese. For this reason, all textbooks address the topic of variation, but in some, there are still inconsistencies in relation to variation, and their approach is, in many cases, only to meet the requirements of government programs, such as the National Textbook Program (PNLD), and end up not being concerned with the learning and reflection that can be generated in the classroom, leaving it to the teacher to go deeper into the subject. Thus, our objective in this work is to analyze how the treatment of linguistic variation occurs, in Portuguese language textbooks, in high school. For this, we will use the Portuguese Contemporary collection: dialogue, reflection and use, by authors William Cereja, Carolina Dias Vianna and Christiane Damien (2016), destined for High School. The collection to be analyzed was indicated in the 2015 PNLD and very well evaluated by the Textbook Guide. The theoretical basis of this work is anchored in educational sociolinguistic studies and we will use clippings from the collection 1, 2 and 3 of these textbooks intended for grammar teaching, in order to realize if there is a regularity in the work with the variations or just the mere identification of varieties.
