Résumé

Innocence, curiosity, and limitless possibility characterise childhood when developing minds embark on self-discovery. However, among the sunny childhood sceneries, there is a sobering reality that should worry everyone: child sexual abuse is a widespread problem. Numerous children's lives are long-shadowed by these sinister and covert phenomena, which leave lasting effects that go well beyond their formative years. Parents are the primary caregivers and role models to children. They have a unique responsibility to provide comprehensive and age-appropriate education on sexual abuse. In light of the escalating prevalence of sexual abuse incidents globally, it has become increasingly imperative to equip girls with the knowledge and tools to protect themselves. This paper delves into various aspects of parental involvement in educating girls on sexual abuse, including communication, awareness, and prevention strategies. By assuming this crucial role, parents can empower their daughters, contributing to the larger goal of creating a society where girls are safe, protected, and capable of leading healthy lives. Anita Nair delineated this concept in most of her notable works. The present research paper aims to conclude her recent work, Eating Wasps.
