Patativa do Assaré and the constituction of the nomadism of the people and the language

Abstract

This work aims to analyze a selection of Patativa do Assaré poems from the perspective of Deleuzeguattariano's concept of minor literature. In this regard, Patativa's poems present an expression that indicates affections and perceptions of a social group. Both the affections and the perceptions of this social group, the backcountry people, move from three components: nomadism, politics and, the collective agency of enunciation.The three categories or components of the concept of minor literature will be our theoretical contributions to dialogue with the creative power of the poet from Ceará.Thus, Patativa's poetry presents this tour de force, as it builds the notion of a people and a language on the margins of official and literate Brazil.
