DENOMINANDO ESTRELAS: UM ESTUDO DIALETAL A PARTIR DE DADOS LEXICAIS DO PROJETO ALiB EM CAPITAIS DE DUAS REGIÕES BRASILEIRAS

Abstract

Esse trabalho tem como objetivo descrever as denominações para as estrelas nas capitais das regiões Norte e Centro-Oeste do Brasil observadas no corpus do Projeto Atlas Linguístico do Brasil (ALiB). Os dados foram coletados in loco em novecapitais das duas regiões, que compõem a rede de pontos do ALiB. Na Região Centro-Oeste, eles foram catalogados por Carvalho (2015) em Dissertação de Mestradoe,na Região Norte, os dados estão sendo trabalhados em pesquisa de Mestrado com defesa prevista ainda para esse ano pelas autoras. No total, a pesquisaconta com a contribuição de 72 informantes, estratificados por sexo (homem e mulher), faixa etária (faixa 1 – 18 a 30 anos e faixa 2 – 50 a 65 anos) e escolaridade (fundamental incompleto e universitário). O intuito é verificar os usos linguísticos e documentar a diversidade lexical do português falado nessas regiões, seguindo os princípios da Geolinguística Pluridimensional. O enfoque é dado a três questões do Questionário Semântico-Lexical (QSL) do Projeto ALiB, (COMITÊ NACIONAL..., 2011, p. 23) retiradas da área semântica Astros e Tempo e que investigam os nomes dados à “Estrela da Manhã”, à“Estrela da Tarde” e à“Estrela Cadente”. As respostas serão avaliadas com vistas a corroborar se há ou não a existência de homogeneidade nos falares do Norte e do Centro Oeste do país.

ABSTRACT: This work aims to describe the names for the stars in the capitals of North and Midwest Regions of Brazil observed in the corpus of the Atlas Linguistic Project of Brazil (ALiB). Data were collected on the in loco in nine cities in the two regions, which make up the ALiB network of points. In the Midwest Region, they were cataloged by Carvalho (2015) in Master's Thesis and in the North Region, the data are being worked on in a Master's research with defense expected later this year by the author. In total, the work has the contribution of 72 informants, stratified by sex (man and woman), age (age range 1 - 18 to 30 years and age range 2 - 50 to 65 years) and education (incomplete elementary and university). The aim is to verify the linguistic use and document the lexical diversity of the Portuguese spoken in these regions, following the principles of Pluridimensional Geolinguistics. The focus is given to three questions from the ALiB Project's Semantic-Lexical Questionnaire (QSL), (COMITÊ NACIONAL, 2011, p. 23) taken from the Stars and Weather (Astros e Tempo) semantic area and which investigate the names given to Morning Star (Estrela da Manhã), Evening Star (Estrela da Tarde) and Shooting Star (Estrela Cadente). The responses will be evaluated with a view to corroborating whether or not there is homogeneity in the statements of the North and Midwest of the country.
