Interview with Ivan Rodrigo Mendizabal. Ecuadorian Culture Embodied in Literature, Cinema and Videogames

Abstract

This interview with Dr. Ivan Rodrigo Mendizabal seeks to understand the current dynamics that prevail around literature, cinema and video games. For this, the specialist has based himself on the theoretical foundations of Cultural Studies and, especially, of visual Anthropology to sustain that a political and educational link is clear in these productions and guide the mentalities of readers, viewers and users. Initially, these topics will be addressed from a very local way, from Ecuador; however, as these interdisciplinary issues are addressed, the focus will become more panoramic. Therefore, the answers that will be obtained here will allow us to know a more academic interpretation based on these cultural artifacts.
