ANALYSIS OF THE GUIDING FUNDAMENTALS OF ENVIRONMENTAL LAW IN CONTRAST TO THE HIGH RATES OF PESTICIDE USE IN THE AGROBRAZILIAN SCENARIO

Abstract

Brazil has been presenting itself in recent years as one of the largest consumers of pesticides in the world, due to the conventional agricultural system, technological framework and political influence, which contributed to a rapid industrialization, although considered by many as imprudent and early. However, the concern with environmental preservation and, at the same time, with public health has not followed suit. The article was structured by means of documental research, using the deductive method, by means of bibliographic review on the theme in specialized magazines, publications, dissertations, monographs, digital documents, also relying on norms and laws that regulate the theme, aiming to investigate the great advance and high rates of entry and use of pesticides in the Brazilian agricultural scenario. In which it can be inferred that the unbridled use of pesticides in Brazil is not a silent conduct. Following the established regulation there is legally a state control over individuals and companies, regarding the purchase, use, manufacture, application, marketing, production, even the forms of disposal and storage of packaging used, although it is necessary to verify, analyze and discuss the little action / creation and investment of effective public policies for control and monitoring.
