SPORTS DOPING: RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ATHLETE ACCORDING TO THE WORLD ANTI-DOPING CODE

Abstract

The work seeks to analyze and reflect on doping in sport, in order to understand the athlete's responsibility according to the World Anti-Doping Code. This article arose from the idea that, in the current century, the fight against doping has been consolidated in the midst of society, aiming at sport with respect to the spirit of fair play, equity and justice. With this initiative, we intend to question the use of prohibited methods or restrictions, analyzing the athlete's responsibility when caught. To analyze these issues of bibliographic and documentary research, using doctrines of current studies as constitutive, of studies and theoretical studies, in order to reflect and analyze the World Anti-Doping Code and to approach some assumptions of civil liability in Brazilian Law for better understanding, aiming at analysis regarding the responsibility of the athlete caught in the anti-doping test.
