THE ADOPTION REGIME IN BRAZIL FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF LEGISLATIONS AND THE NATIONAL ADOPTION REGISTRATION: ADVANCEMENT OR RETROCESS?

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This article seeks to create a reflective and critical scenario regarding the institution of adoption in the Brazilian legal system, based on the verification of its legislative evolution and the current context of the topic. During the study of the adoption regime, the position of jurists on the subject is added, highlighting their news, improvements and suggestions throughout the work. To this end, books, scientific articles and the internet were used as the main source of bibliographical research methodology, as well as the letter of law itself. The theme prioritizes the adoption process of children and adolescents and the protection and guarantee of children's rights. In this sense, the relevance of the subject is demonstrated, which involves both legislative changes, verifying understanding and whether, in fact, in the practice of the adoption process, its constitutional principles are defended. Finally, it seeks to bring a look of love, care and awareness about the moment the adoptee is going through, so that everyone works on their good process of physical, psychological and social development, also disseminating the idea of ​​adopting, as a way to reduce the number of infants in national adoption registries and the length of time they spend without a family.
